Paint Mare for Sale in Owasso, OK
Performance Prospect! This mare is gorgeous! She is registered APHA but is 3 / 4 AQHA. Dam is AAA granddaughter of Lady Bugs Moon AAA (AQHA) and Pacific Bailey AAA (AQHA) . Sire is Mighty Face AAA (APHA) producer of many 1D barrel horses. I have been riding her for 30 days and she is a natural on the barrels. She picks up her leads with ease and works well off of her rear end. She is light and responsive in the mouth. This mare loves to please and has a lot of heart. Exceptional quickness for a big mare. She is very sure footed and also carries her head low. She is in the Oklahoma Bred program and will be a terrific brood mare. Please e - mail me for more info at bevergir***@yahoo. com! I would love to keep her for myself but have too many horses and not enough time!

About Owasso, OK
Owasso began as a settlement in 1881, located in the Cooweescoowee District of the Cherokee Nation in Indian Territory, near what is now 66th Street North and North 129th East Avenue. It was called Elm Creek, and was named for Elm Creek, a tributary of Bird Creek. The first settler was H.T. (Tole) Richardson. In June 1893, plans began for a rail line to be extended south from Bartlesville to the cattle ranches in the vicinity of Bird Creek.
