Thoroughbred Gelding for Sale in Griffin, GA

Marlo (JC: Ol Army), is a 2009 ottb gelding, registered, standing at 16.2ish, with a huge personality. Marlo is looking for the right person to take him on his journey in the show ring. He is a forward ride and he’s extremely athletic. He has lovely movement, loves to jump and would excel in the eventing or jumping world. Also has training level dressage experience and would excel at dressage as well. Marlo aims to please, but can be sensitive, so he does best under a consistent work routine. Marlo needs an advanced rider to further his training and get him out in the world. He is great around other horses and does best with as much turnout as possible. He has front shoes and stands great for farrier. Very kind demeanor on the ground. He retired from racing in 2017.  He was only let down for a few months before we bought him.. We make sure to keep his weight maintained and of course has all his shots and vaccinations.  His teeth are floated regularly.    He is fed 2 scoops of the pro force senior feed. He is on 3/4 a scoop of alfalfa cubs twice daily and a scoop of beet pulp twice daily.  For supplements he is on Madbarn Omneity and Visceral+. He gets about 2 pumps of coco soya oil in each meal too. Plus his hay in the hay net and just the normal pasture grazing.    We are asking $6,500 but negotiable on the price. Our main concern is him having a good home with someone that can get him to the potential we know he is capable of.
