Arabian Mare for Sale in Kellogg, ID
Beautiful, well put together. Headshy, difficult to bridle normally. Can be ridden in a mustang sidepull rope bridle, or s-hackamore without broadband. I ride her in a rope halter.
She needs a confident, educated rider, as a result, and is not for a child, timid, or inexperienced handler.
She trailers very well, and is excellent for the farrier. Not spooky, and is not afraid of wildlife or vehicles. Gets along with other horses, and can be taken out alone. Would be best suited as a trail horse, brood mare or surrogate, and possibly a lesson horse with more time. Good with ground work and in round pen or arena.

About Kellogg, ID
Kellogg was incorporated in 1907. The city limits included mine property in 1955, and smelter property in 1956. The population in 1960 was about 6000. Kellogg is named after a prospector named Noah Kellogg. After nearly a century of bustling activity in the mines, including a history of disputes between union miners and mine owners, the Bunker Hill Mine (& smelter) closed in 1981, leaving thousands out of work and a history of lead contamination.
