Lovely 2016 Appendix Mare

This pretty girl is a 6 year old registered appendix mare standing at approx. 15.2hh. With 3 quality gaits and a correct way of going she has the potential to excel in any discipline. Though her breeding is primarily Quarter Horse she is very in touch with her Thoroughbred bloodlines and will do best with someone who understands and can manage the typical TB brain. No buck, bolt, rear, spin under saddle, even if she’s tense she is still safe and rideable. Like any young horse she benefits from being in a regular program with continuous handling to maintain good behaviour! Astrid is soft in the bridle, moves off the leg, has solid transitions, and a very rhythmic way of going. She has been lightly started over fences and shows fantastic natural talent for jumping. She is simple and straightforward to ride so does not need an overly experienced rider but does need a confident one! She would be suitable for a junior in a program or adult amateur looking for a talented prospect to bring along any way you choose!
