Sired By Wimpys Little Step

Meet Wimpys Jack N Frost, Aka Jack. Jack is a beautiful 8 year old registered quarter horse. Sorrel, blaze head and 3 socks. Jack is 15.3 hands. Jack was sired by the one and only Wimpys Litte Step and Dam is Miss Frosty Olena. I purchased Jack about a year ago, he was previously in the show world according to his past owner, but I bought him as a trail horse. Jack stands nicely for the ferrier, pastes fine, loads into a slant load without issue but needs coaxing into a straight load. He travels without issue. He does great out on the trails and does not spook easily. However, he is a sour buddy and I learned that the hard way. First time I tried to ride him away from his pasture mate, he tried his best to throw me. I managed to somehow stay on him and was able to get him back to the round pen and work him until he submitted. I want him to go to a good home and so I won't lie about his flaws or my own. I am now very scared to get back on Jack and he knows that which is why he needs a more experienced rider and someone who can work with him on a more regular basis. I am open to offers or even a trade. I am looking for a sweet and calm mare who can be trusted with anyone, including kids, on her back. We are just a family who enjoys riding trails so I need to be able to trust that my 10 and 12 year old won't be thrown.
