Thoroughbred Gelding for Sale in Ossian, IN
Harry (registered as Flaming Orbit in the Jockey Club) loves attention and thrives on it. He is 19 years old. Thoroughbred that has done barrel racing, jumping, trail riding, pleasure, dressage, eventing, etc. Would definitely need a refresher in everything. Stands for a farrier at home and currently barefoot. He has had shoes and Cavallo boots for riding trails before. He is a great learner but needs someone to work with him. Bought him about a year ago and I let him get away with some things. Needs an experienced rider to correct some minor behavior issues and to listen again. Won't take much, just someone with the experience to do it. He overall is a great horse just needs someone to discipline him and give him more time.
About Ossian, IN
The Ossian post office has been in operation since 1850. In 1843, Indiana State Road 1 was made serviceable from Fort Wayne to Bluffton. On January 25, 1850, the Fort Wayne and Bluffton Plank Road Company was then organized. The plank road was a toll road; any horse or horse-drawn vehicle had to pay a toll. The Fort Wayne, Cincinnati, & Louisville Railroad was built through Ossian in 1869, though it was not in complete operation until the following year.
