Perfect First Pony!

A pony as sweet as her name! Buttercup is a 14-15 year old pony mare, standing at a stout 11.2 hands at the wither. Unlike most ponies she doesn’t hate her life, or the person at the other end of the leadrope. Not mareish and is kind and forgiving as well as a babysitter. Loves her people and always is looking to come into the barn for attention. We feel that Buttercup will make a good starter pony or be successful in a lesson/therapy program that wants a slow and easy going pony. She walks and trots, and will also canter with a pop of a crop or rein. But honestly, someone who wants something slow and lazy will appreciate her most. No buck, rear, bolt, bite or kick to her. She can go Western, English or bareback. Leadlines happily with no drama. Not spooky one bit, and is great with dogs, cattle, traffic, tarps, farm equipment, etc. She will stand all day to be groomed and is great with both the farrier and vet. Barefoot with great feet and has no issues with the farrier. Low man in the pasture with the big horses. Otherwise gets along with the other ponies well. She can be stalled or live out. No founder or lameness history. Clean legs and no scarring. Tacks up well and takes a bit without hesitation. Stands to be mounted from a block. She does not require any special upkeep or maintenance. She is supposed to drive but I have not driven her myself. She is a GOOD egg, deserving a comfortable and loving home! Seeing her have her own little person(s) would make my heart sing!
