Lusitano Gelding for Sale in Charlotte, NC
Olympico is very well put together with amazing elasticity and maneuverability. He is well bred from imported sire/dam. This classic beauty is gifted with a great mind and three lovely gaits. His eagerness to learn and please his partner make him a wonderful prospect for dressage, working equitation, or eventing. He has been out to two dressage shows and in the ribbons!
He was super easy to start as he is so intelligent and willing, with no fireworks in Spring 2021 and is progressing very nicely. He exhibits the aptitude to grasp things quickly and enjoys learning. Has been introduced to trail rides and crossing water. He is sensitive and is best suited when paired with a sensitive rider/trainer that appreciates the Lusitano mindset. He has excellent ground manners and bathes, loads, easy for the farrier. Currently he stands at 15.3H and will continue to grow. He is up to date on farrier, dental, inoculations, deworming. Olympico will make someone a fantastic partner! His price negotiable to right home.

About Charlotte, NC
The Catawba Native Americans were the first known historic tribe to settle Mecklenburg County (in the Charlotte area) and were first recorded around 1567 in Spanish records. By 1759 half the Catawba tribe had died from smallpox, which was endemic among Europeans, because the Catawba had not acquired immunity to the new disease. At the time of their largest population, Catawba people numbered 10,000, but by 1826 their total population had dropped to 110. The European-American city of Charlotte was developed first by a wave of migration of Scots-Irish Presbyterians, or Ulster-Scot settlers from Northern Ireland, who dominated the culture of the Southern Piedmont Region. They made up the principal founding European population in the backcountry.
