Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Lancaster, PA
Meet your new go-to horse!
“Cookies By Zip” aka “Stella” is one of the coolest horses I have had the opportunity to ride and own. She is smart, kind, well bred, and trained to a T. I’m blown away by her every day and can ride her until the sun sets! She is truly a schoolmaster!
Out of “Cookie Leaguer” and by “Don’t Skip Zip”, she goes back to “Zippo Pine Bar”, “Zips Chocolate Chip”, and “Saved The Day”.
Stella was foaled in 2003 and stands at 15.2 hands tall. Riding Stella is mindless! This lady WTC, and ALWAYS knows her leads as well as having an auto swap. She will move out in English tack, or she will jog and lope in Western tack if you ask. Absolutely no buck, rear, kick out, bite, etc in this girl! Stella drops and gets on the bit as asked, moves off leg, side passes, backs, and stops on a dime. She will lope or jog off from a standstill and stands to be mounted. Stella will hack out, but prefers the company of a friend if possible.
In the barn she is cooperative, easy to catch, ties, picks up all four feet, stands to be tacked and groomed, NOT cinchy, and LOVES a good bubble bath! Stella drops her head and SELF BRIDLES, no giraffe business here. Great with other horses and can be the low man in the herd.
Stella is AQHA registered and has her transfers. She is also health tested and N/N for: GBED, HYPP, MH, and PSSM1. Stella is N/HRD.
Stella has also foaled a few times and has proved herself to be a point producing mare with foals booming their way into the AQHA show ring.
We believe Stella will be a great mount for almost anyone. Her rolling canter and smooth trot will have you coming back for more. She is finished out and ready to head home with you. Hit the show ring and have a winning season!
Stella is barefoot, sound, UTD, and will go with her transfers and health testing. She requires no maintenance or upkeep. Good with both the vet and farrier. NOT mareish!
Don’t miss out on this lady! We may just have to keep her for ourselves!
About Lancaster, PA
Originally called Hickory Town, the city was renamed after the English city of Lancaster by native John Wright. Its symbol, the red rose, is from the House of Lancaster. Lancaster was part of the 1681 Penn's Woods Charter of William Penn, and was laid out by James Hamilton in 1734. It was incorporated as a borough in 1742 and incorporated as a city in 1818. During the American Revolution, Lancaster was the capital of the United States for one day, on September 27, 1777, after the Continental Congress fled Philadelphia, which had been captured by the British.
