15 Year Old Palomino Mare

Nala is a 15 year old, quarter horse cross, palomino mare. She stands at 14.3 hands. She stands quietly for grooming, and is great with the farrier. She is currently going barefoot and doing fine. She is broke to ride, and would be best for a rider with patience and knowledge. She acts mare-ish and some people don’t like that. She can walk, jog, trot, and canter under saddle, and is being started on jumps. She knows her leads very well. No buck, bite, or rear. She has also been line driven and ridden down quiet roads with ease. She free jumps 2’6. Has potential in jumping or western events. She has recently learned about collection and will put her head down and nose in when given the right command. She listens to words and breaths well on ground and under saddle. She is not one that needs much encouragement to get moving. She has been seeing a chiropractor while she’s been in training just to make sure she’s comfortable during this time.
