When we got the opportunity to purchase Gypsy from a friend, we jumped right on it! Gypsy has been nothing but a blessing for us, our wives, and our children. We have owned Gypsy for over a year now, and she has been used as a trail horse for the entirety of the time we’ve owned her. When we tell you Gypsy is one for the entire family, we mean it! Our children grab her out of a box stall, saddle her up and take off without hesitation. My wife even rides double with my two-year-old son because Gypsy is always calm and dependable. Gypsy will flex on the ground. She will walk on a loose rein but has no problem stepping up into a 4 beat gate or canter when asked. Riding Gypsy is like sitting in a rocking chair! Gypsy will lead in a group, ride in the middle or follow, whichever you prefer. She gets along great with all of our other horses. Gypsy stands like a soldier to tack up and doesn’t ride off until asked by her rider. She’s soft and supple on and off her back. She’s great for a farrier, loads and bathes with ease. Gypsy has GREAT ground manners! She’s honestly one of the best horses we have to handle on the ground and in the saddle. Gypsy has seen all kinds of wildlife on trail rides, and nothing fazes her. She is traffic safe, crosses logs and water with ease. She doesn’t get cold back. Gypsy has ridden in tough terrain, and she never missed a beat! She is as sure-footed as they come! She loves riding trails and faces new challenges head-on. Gypsy never backs down or gives up. Gypsy is the first to meet you at the gate every day, and she’s easy to stall.
