Tilda Marie

Tilda Marie (Tilly) is a 16.2h dark bay 13 year old OTTB. She had a very short career on the track. If you are looking for an adorable “in your pocket personality” mare, she might be the one for you! Tilly is very smart and willing. She leads, crossties, bathes, and turns out without issue. She has 3 good gaits and has jumped three foot courses with her previous owner. She is in need of an experienced rider/leader, but would make a wonderful project for the person willing to put the time in. Great feet with front shoes only. She stands well for the vet and farrier and has no vices. Tilly was diagnosed with kissing spine in May 2020, mild at 3 levels of spine, but was not a candidate for surgery. She has done extremely well with injections and rehab, and is currently sound and comfortable. She is maintained with regular exercise and chiropractic and a professional trainer has been doing the rehab. Tilly needs a confident rider, she is not suitable for a beginner, and would do best in a program with trainer who has experience with Thoroughbreds. She needs regular exercise to maintain her back and will not do well with significant periods of time off. Negotiable for the perfect situation. Asking $2000. Located in Vermont.
