Arabian Mare for Sale in Crescent, IA
Dakota is a 4 year old registered, red roan Arabian mare, that stands at about 14.2 hands, and still growing. She has all of her groundwork done. She stands tied, lunges, loads, picks up her feet. She’s not a fan of baths, but if she’s occupied she will stand it. She’s the first one to meet you at the fence. She loves all people, been exposed to everything. Goats, dogs, cows, loves being challenged. She likes tarps, going through water, and other obstacles. She loves jumping, she would be a great hunter jumper prospect, or even cross country. Other bloodlines lead to the Egyptian showing, and western work. She has been saddled, girth tightened, both English and western. She also has been lunged and worked with a saddle on, as well as weight in the saddle. No buck, no rear.

About Crescent, IA
Crescent was originally laid out by Joseph E. Johnson, a Latter-day Saint who also published a paper there in the 1850s. Before the near universal exodus of the Mormons to Utah in 1852 (many left beginning in 1847, but they were the majority of the population until 1852) the area was known as Brownell's Grove and Farmersville. Crescent had about 300 residents in 1950. As of the census of 2010, there were 617 people, 235 households, and 177 families living in the city.
