Bashkir Curly Gelding for Sale in Athens, GA
Meet Curly, aka “Prides Midnight Harley”, a striking black 15 year old registered Bashkir Curly with a heart of gold. He is 14.2hh gelding. Curly is a smooth ride with smooth transitions and has a willing attitude over jumps. We see him prospering the most in the eventing world, however he has competed in the hunter world. Curly has been to many local shows as well as the Georgia 4H State Horse Show and qualified for Southern Regionals. He never fails to charm the judge with his unique hypoallergenic coat and heart of gold.
Curly loads, clips, and bathes with no problem. He is UPD on shots, a barefoot easy keeper, and is a farrier favorite. Anything with the word “food” he will do his best to please. Curly is most responsive to leg and has a GO button. Even though he has the biggest heart and a gentle disposition, we prefer an advanced beginner to intermediate rider with confidence. Curly usually jumps around 2’ to 2’3 but with more work he could most definitely go higher. Curly has had experience in dressage with the previous owner and ranked 7th at the Georgia 4H State Horse Show with a “new dressage rider.” Curly is surely a barn and family favorite.
Curly has so much potential to be pursued and is such an amazing horse but I do not have much time to work with him as well as my other horse due to work, school, and other commitments. Serious inquiries only. Located in Athens, GA. $200 a month for full lease or $3500 for sale. Feel free to contact Averi Hardwick at 706-510-4383 or email averi.hardwick@gmail.com for any questions or interests.

About Athens, GA
In the late 18th century, a trading settlement on the banks of the Oconee River called Cedar Shoals stood where Athens is today. On January 27, 1785, the Georgia General Assembly granted a charter by Abraham Baldwin for the University of Georgia as the first state-supported university. Sixteen years later, in 1801, a committee from the university's board of trustees selected a site for the university on a hill above Cedar Shoals, in what was then Jackson County. On July 25, John Milledge, one of the trustees and later governor of Georgia, bought 633 acres (256 ha) from Daniel Easley and donated it to the university. Milledge named the surrounding area Athens after the city that was home to the Platonic Academy of Plato and Aristotle in Greece.
