Doc Olena Dean is a 2017 bay dun AQHA Appendix mare. She is by Sun O Tenino (Mr Sun O Lena X Miss Tenino Sam - Tenino Sam) out of Dahlia Dean (Dean Miracle X De Surf - Dehere). This mare has the best of both running and cow blood in one pretty package. Doc Olena Dean's paternal half sister, Sister Sour Mash, has an impressive show record in Ranch Riding, VRH Reining, Performance Halter and VRH Conformation. You will have a hard time finding better conformation, color and size with these bloodlines. Doc Olena Dean has been out in the pasture and is now getting groundwork put on her. She is the perfect project horse for anyone looking for a ranch, rope or show horse. She can be hard to catch in large spaces and she does have some vim and vigor in her. This filly is a quick learner and wants to please her handler. She will make a phenomenal partner for an experienced rider who is looking to start their own colt. Buy her and ride her or buy her and breed her! Doc Olena Dean is located in Santa Anna, TX and is available in the lower four figures range! Shipping can be arranged at buyers expense. Videos on the ground can be taken upon request. Please message or text me at 469-338-6642 with any questions!!

About Santa Anna, TX

The twin mesas in central Coleman County have always been a landmark. One of the earliest maps of Texas shows a mountain near the center of the state with the notation, "Santa Anna's Peaks." The mountain and later the town were named for the Comanche war chief Santanna, or Santa Anna. Texas Rangers camped at the foot of the mountain long before the area was settled. Cattle drives from South Texas to the northern markets passed through the gap in the mountain along a military road. This road helped supply the outpost forts along the Texas Forts Trail.
