Ben is the lowest in the pecking order, he adores other horses, from big to small, (minis to horses). Will happily be around moody mares ect he is a gentle giant.
Easy to catch, will stand to be fussed over and groomed all day, easy to lead - not a pushy type. And can be covered with no halter.
Ben would also be a great project for a really experienced person. He is still very young and green so NOT a beginners horse.
He can currently walk, trot, canter, gallop and jump. He accepts the bit very well.
Ive ridden him with a saddle and also bareback, in a bridle and in a halter with no worries.
He has so much potential and would make a great project for someone. Although he does need someone knowable to take him on further.
Would make a great happy hacker, hes great with traffic. Have ridden him right through middle of town. Hes good to be ridden solo, or with a group.
Ben currently has a sore back due to my saddle and from being in general work. Hes had one massage treatment done last Thursday, and is getting another this week.
Ben also has 5 pins in his hind leg, but doesn't affect him what so ever. Never been unsound because of this. He raced twice after he got pins in his leg, and he got vet cleared as a riding horse at the start of this year. Definitely doesn't affect his movement or any part of him. This happend 3 years ago.
Ben came off the track in April this year (2019) and has so far put on a lot of weight, he will be a very good doer.
But don't bother getting in contact if your a beginner or nervous rider.
