Paint Mare for Lease in Boise, ID
Tessa is incredibly special to me and is the most amazing horse anyone could ask for. Sadly, I am leaving for college in the fall and can’t take her with me this first year. SO I am putting her up for a partial-lease (Leasee pays for half of her care) to the right person. This lease would be for someone looking to improve their riding skills in classical dressage with a fun and consistent equine partner along the way. The lease would be for the school year (August-May) but I would be willing to negotiate for the summer of 2020. She will stay boarded at Pierce Gulch Farm. As a training barn, it will be required to take lessons, but Laura is the best instructor I’ve met to date. The indoor arena is also the best I’ve seen.
Tessa is a great teacher because her sensitivity demands you to ride properly. I would like someone with experience in classical dressage to ride her, since she has a lot to give if she can trust her rider’s seat and hands. While Tessa thrives in classical dressage, she is also very adventurous and loves to explore. She’s great in the arena, on the trail, and at shows. Her sweet spirit has also allowed me to use her as a therapy horse. Tessa is VERY smart and loves to puzzle out a good challenge. To this end, I have clicker trained her and exposed her to tricks and liberty. Since Tessa wants to be a partner, this is how I conduct a lot of her training in riding as well.
Even though the lease wouldn’t begin until August, I would recommend coming out to the stable as soon as possible and taking a few lessons with Laura to make sure it’s a good fit. We will happily welcome you into the stable family!
