Thoroughbred Gelding for Sale in Middletown, VA

Admiral is a 15.2H nineteen-year-old ottb gelding who is currently running 4D / 3D times in barrels and poles, he has jumped 2' feet and is great on trails. He has been used as a 4-H horse for the past three years and has participated in drill team carrying flags, used in parades and campouts. He loads and stands for farrier, vet, in cross ties and being tacked up and mounted. Goes through water and over bridges and is good with traffic. He has typical Thoroughbred feet and requires a regular trimming and currently has four shoes on, he can be hard to catch at times but with grain / treats he'll come right to you. He is very sweet and quiet mannered, but does require an intermediate rider as he does have more go then woah. Only selling because I bought another horse and cannot keep three. Admiral has a current Coggins and it priced at $1500 OBO, located in Middletown VA. He is truly a great gelding and deserves the best. About Middletown, VA

Middletown was chartered on May 4, 1796. Some of the first documentation of early Middletown dates back to the late 18th century and is attributed to Dr. Peter Senseney and his wife Magdelen, two German settlers who had migrated from Pennsylvania. The town was originally known as "Senseney Town", a piece of land within the 17th Century Fairfax Grant and gifted to the allies for siding with England during the civil war in the 1600s. Belle Grove Plantation, about a mile southwest of Middletown, was first settled in about 1750, and its historic Federal-style manor house was completed in 1797.
