Mare for Sale in Cedar Springs, MI

I'm currently looking for a well broke, bomb-proof horse. I would use him or her for 4H, possibly trail rides, and a couple small shows. I'm looking for a horse who is not buddy sour, barn sour, high maintenance, or spooky. This horse must be good with other animals, (llamas, sheep, other horses, goats, dogs, cats). I'm hoping for a horse who can do showmanship, english, and western. Speed is not a priority for me. Please contact me if you have a horse who fits this description! My max price is about $1,000. By the way, age is not a concern of mind I just do not need some green yearling. I would prefer a mare or gelding over a stallion. Minimum height is about 15 hands.

About Cedar Springs, MI

Established as a lumber town in 1856, Cedar Springs boasted numerous lumber and shingle mills. The town was the northern terminus of the Grand Rapids and Indiana Railroad for two years and also was the crossing point for the east to west running Toledo, Saginaw and Muskegon Railway, which became the Grand Trunk Western Railroad, which was built through the town in 1888. The community was named for the fine springs bordered by a cedar grove.
