Barrel Prospect

Claire is a 5 year old unraced Thoroughbred. She is a beautiful chestnut with four white socks. She stands about 15.3 hands with a big hip. Claire has been ridden English previously, and now I have been training her for barrels. She picks up her leads with ease and lopes big and small circles in either direction. Easy to clip,shoe,bathe, saddle, and load. She lunges both ways via voice command. Claire is extremely easy to catch, she will walk right up to you. She is loping the barrel patten with ease, she just needs someone to go ahead and finish her and start hauling her. Claire is very quick and snappy with a lot of power in her hip. This mare is big and flashy! She has a very solid build. Claire has a big heart and is a quick learner- she is really going to make someone and incredible barrel horse. I am only selling to pay a vet bill for my other barrel horse. She has NEVER raced so she doesn’t have any bad racetrack habits or issues. I do have a current coggins, and she is current on worming. No bad habits or issues with other horses. She has been to several exhibitions and open arenas. She is calm, and doesn’t get hot at all. Claire can be trail ridden as well. She is very attentive and picks up new concepts very quickly. She is gentle but I would rather someone with experience take her to make sure she reaches her full potential.
