Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Billings, MT
Gorgeous dapple gray, 15.2hh Quarter-Draft cross gelding, and is very well trained. An elegant mover with a quiet disposition, he's trained to pull a cart, has been a parade horse, works in the arena as well as outside, loves the trail. He side passes, goes in, over, or through anything, is neck and leg responsive, very respectful and well mannered. He stands patiently for tacking up - regardless of how long it takes - will stand quietly tied. He's calm for the farrier, vet, and trailers well. He's a very comfortable, smooth and level ride at any gait, and has a long stride. He will step out at a good pace, but only if you ask him to, moves out alone, good with all genders and ages of horses. He's comfortable around livestock, cattle, sheep, dogs, swine, chickens. He's safe for all riding levels, but an experienced rider will especially enjoy him because he has a keen mind and enjoys learning. OK to call or text 406 850 3440

About Billings, MT
The downtown core and much of the rest of Billings is in the Yellowstone Valley, a canyon carved out by the Yellowstone River. Around 80 million years ago, the Billings area was on the shore of the Western Interior Seaway. The sea deposited sediment and sand around the shoreline. As the sea retreated, it left a deep layer of sand. Over millions of years, this sand was compressed into stone known as Eagle Sandstone.
