Info: Has had 6 months of training with Stephanie Field at River Ridge Stables in Wi. Has been mostly trained on the flat but has been started over small fences. I did jump her and she does not get excited. I am selling her because she is too anxious of a horse to meet my goals. She does best with an experienced rider with consistent training. She is a very sweet mare without a mean bone in her body. She is very smart and picks things up relatively quickly.
She is an average keeper, ( the vet just said that she is getting a little fat a few weeks ago) and is only on 6 qts of Nutrena and 1 lb of Rice Bran and is gaining weight. She is also on Hoofs Secret for her feet.
She is on front pads at the moment but the farrier says her feet are getting better. She is also a cribbers and does best with all day turn out.
Medical History: She did arrive to me with a small bone chip in her right front cannon bone from a pasture accident October of last year. She had it surgically removed at Merritt & Associates Equine Hospital on November 2, 2016 and the vet gave her the all clear to pursue any disabling after it healed. The leg has not bothered her since. UTD on shots and had teeth floated in September.
She has come up lame last month in her left front leg (not the one above). She received Legends injections and Equinoxx but is still off in that leg. She is cleared to be turned out with other horses. She will probably need hock injections in the future. I have priced her accordingly to reflect this.
You are welcome to come out to view her by appointment but please keep in mind she has been out of work for a couple months and is not able to be ridden. Please PM me with requests.
I have attached videos from last August from when she was in consistent work and photos. I will try to get more updated photos as well. T
Please feel free to contact Stephanie Field Staner (at 563-590-1606or sfield78@aol.com) for reference.

About Aurora, IL
Before European settlers arrived, there was a Native American village in what is today downtown Aurora, on the banks of the Fox River. In 1834, following the Black Hawk War, the McCarty brothers arrived. They initially owned land on both sides of the river, but sold their lands to the Lake brothers on the west side. The Lake brothers opened a mill on the opposite side of the river. The McCartys lived and operated their mill on the east side.
