Mister Amigo is an experienced jumper with lots of miles and a lot to offer. Having started out with a hunter pleasure background, Amigo has competed and won in both the Arabian show circuit and 4-H level shows. After making the switch to Eventing and Jumpers, Amigo has proven to be highly competitive. Having multiple top 3 placings in 3’ and 3’3” jumper classes, and cross country schooling through preliminary. Amigo has been working with top trainers such as Kim Severson and Brad Hall. Besides being agile, Amigo has the brains and grace to be worked in dressage. Although a home with jumping would be where hed be happiest. When not showing, he has been taken on multiple camping trips and hours of trails proving to be a trusty trail horse. Whether youre just getting into showing or want to move through the levels Amigo can complete the job.

About Madison, WI

Before Europeans, humans inhabited the area in and around Madison for about 12,000 years. In 1800, the Madison area was Ho-Chunk (Winnebago) Country. The Native Americans called this place Taychopera (Ta-ko-per-ah), meaning "land of the four lakes" (Mendota, Monona, Waubesa, and Kegonsa). Effigy mounds, which had been constructed for ceremonial and burial purposes over 1,000 years earlier, dotted the rich prairies around the lakes. Madison's European origins begin in 1829, when former federal judge James Duane Doty purchased over a thousand acres (4 km²) of swamp and forest land on the isthmus between Lakes Mendota and Monona, with the intention of building a city in the Four Lakes region.
