Abbey is a very athletic and forward moving mare with a great work ethic and desire to please. She is a versatile mare. Ready to go for 2016 show season in training level dressage, hunter, jumping and eventing. She is very experienced on trails and is sure footed in mountains. This mare can do it all! Abbey is very responsive and soft in a snaffle bit, and has three well-defined gates with an exceptionally smooth canter. She ties, ground ties, easily loads in the trailer and stands still for farrier and vet. This mare has excellent ground manners, is easy to maneuver, and is very flexible on both sides. Could be inspected and registered as American Warmblood.
About Great Falls, MT
The first human beings to live in the Great Falls area were Native Americans. The area remained only sparsely inhabited. Salish Indians would seasonally hunt bison in the region but no permanent settlements existed at or near Great Falls for much of prehistory. Around 1600, Piegan Blackfeet Indians, migrating west, entered the area, pushing the Salish back into the Rocky Mountains and claiming the site now known as Great Falls. The area remained the territory of the Blackfeet until long after the United States claimed the region in 1803 in the Louisiana Purchase.
