Thoroughbred Mare for Sale in Grand Junction, CO
Josee is a 20 year old mare, I have owned her for 10 years now (Don't be fooled by age, she acts like a 5 year old). Unfortunately, I am no longer able to ride consistently and moving in a different direction.
Josee is currently an English horse but has been under a Western saddle in her past. Josee has competed in dressage and show jumping. Fair warning now, Josee needs someone who has experience or a risk-taker, she is highly spirited but very willing to please her rider. She enjoys a good testing but subsides shortly after warming up. Josee will do anything that is asked, I still currently jump her as small as a pole on the ground to about 5'3ht.
I am in need of a loving home that will put in the time of riding her and giving her love everyday as I have provided. I will also include all of her grooming supplies and tack, that has been obtained over the years, you can reject the tack if you would like.
If interested please email me; amber.v.winters@gmail.com .... I have more pictures and a few jumping videos available

About Grand Junction, CO
In September 1881 the former Ute Indian Territory was abolished and the Utes forced into a reservation so that the U.S. government could open the area to white settlers. Clinton County, Pennsylvania-born George Addison Crawford (1827–91) soon purchased a plot of land. On July 22, 1882, he incorporated the town of Grand Junction and planted Colorado's first vineyard near Palisade, Colorado, causing the area to become known as the Colorado Wine Country. Grand Junction also has a storied past with gunfighters, miners, and early settlers of the American Southwest.
