APHA Broodmare

At no fault of her own, Just My Lark aka Jessie, is offered for sale. She is a beautiful AQHA/ Paint mare who is currently in Foal to OrchardHill’s Snapdragon Welsh/TB. Snapdragon is a very handsome Hunter Style pony who has very many successful offspring winning at Devon and A Hunter circuits. His offspring excel in the Hunter Ring as well as in the Dressage Arena. Jessie is the Granddaughter of the great Rugged Lark, she possess his same lofty trot, athletic abilities, easy trainability, quiet temperament and breath taking looks. She is being offered for sale as a broodmare right now, because of an old performance injury. She has scar tissue on her left hind Proximal Suspensory ligament, which was treated with PRP and only one round of Shockwave therapy and stall rest. She responded very well to the first round of treatment, however right at the wrong time my focus was shifted to my elder father with Alzheimer’s, I gave up my career to take care of my father at that time. But she has a very good chance of recovering with correct and careful rehab, Jessie is perfectly pasture sound and Barefoot. I’ve jumped on her bareback a few times for a quick walk around the pasture and she handled it just fine. I am going back to school for my MBA and I unfortunately don’t have the time this very special, talented Mare deserves. I have never sold any of my horses before so this is falling heavily on my heart but I know she deserves an opportunity to be great. So without having to say, only an absolutely perfect home will be considered and her breeder Lori Kruzich Smith will also want to stay in touch with the new owner. Jessie has her permanent USEF Pony Card, she is 14.2 HH and registered APHA. With some consistency Jessie could make an ideal Children’s Pony. Her Dam is a loud Paint and Jessie has Buckskin in her lineage, so her foal will be absolutely beautiful.
