Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Waxahachie, TX

AQHA registered 2002 Bay Gelding Chocolate Chip Drop Incentive funded. He is the son of AQHA World Champion and All-Time Leading Sire of Western Pleasure horses, Zips Chocolate Chip. He is kid safe but not for beginners. He has an amazing slow trot and lope.He loads, trims, ties and bathes without any problems. Easy to catch, bridle, and saddle. He was shown in futurity in Arkansas as a 2 and 3 year old. For the past year and a half that I have owned him my 8 year old daughter has been showing him in open shows and doing very well in walk/trot and trail. He does have points but AQHA is behind on entering them. He is 100% sound and is UTD on teeth, shots, and coggins. Doesn’t mind other horses and isn’t spooky. He is currently in training with a Western Pleasure legend Shorty Parks. My daughter wants to get into running barrels so that's why we are selling wanting to go a different direction. I am adding some photos of him and my daughter because I have not been able to get any recent photos with all the rain and dark skies. Also be sure to check out the youtube video. Feel free to contact me with any questions or offers. Asking $12,000 or best reasonable offer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9g1fVRyAg4

About Waxahachie, TX

Waxahachie was founded in August 1850 as the seat of the newly established Ellis County on a donated tract of land given by early settler Emory W. Rogers, a native of Lawrence County, Alabama, who migrated to Texas in 1839. It was incorporated on April 28, 1871, and in 1875 the state legislature granted investors the right to operate a rail line from Waxahachie Tap Railroad to Garrett, Texas, which greatly increased the population of Waxahachie. From 1902 to 1942, Waxahachie was the 2nd home of Trinity University, which was a Presbyterian-affiliated institution founded in 1869. Then-Trinity's main administration and classroom building is today the Farmer Administration Building of Southwestern Assemblies of God University.
