Friesian Horses for Sale in Chicago, IL
Bailey is for sale to the right home, due to my lack of time he has been left to get unfit in the field and now I would like to find someone to ride and care for him a few days a week. Bailey is a pleasure to own and never puts a hoof wrong, he doesn't buck, rear or spook and is the most level headed youngster you can find however I would like an experienced rider as he is still young and does need bringing on. His stable manners are impeccable and he is always perfect on the ground and to ride. He is a big boy and will try it on with novices nothing nasty (e.g refusing to move) and therefore i would like any potential loaner to be patient, quite and light handed.
About Chicago, IL
In the mid-18th century, the area was inhabited by the Potawatomi, a Native American tribe who had succeeded the Miami and Sauk and Fox peoples in this region. The first known non-indigenous permanent settler in Chicago was explorer Jean Baptiste Point du Sable. Du Sable was of African and French descent and arrived in the 1780s. He is commonly known as the "Founder of Chicago". In 1795, following the victory of the new United States in the Northwest Indian War, an area that was to be part of Chicago was turned over to the US for a military post by native tribes in accordance with the Treaty of Greenville.
