This mare can go either way. . . Use her for breeding, she is a proven color producer, or Use her for showing! She is a wonderful english / western pleasure prospect in the making and can be a reining prospect or dressage prospect. She was started under a John Lyons certified trainer and I bought her to work on what she knows. Unfortunately, I cannot keep all my attention on her because of a medical condition and she deserves a good show home that can bring her up to her potential. I would keep her, but it is not fair to her to not be worked with weekly. She loves to be ridden and is very intelligent. Wishes has been shown twice in 2010 and did very well in that atmosphere. Her resume includes: - showmanship (excellent pivots, setting up on command, backing up, walking / trotting WITH you) - Lead changes, her reining spins are coming along nicely, Backing up, working on stops - she is a natural with her leads, and picks up her gaits on command - I have been working with her manuevering the gate, she is doing well with this, crossing obstacles, sidepassing, backing around obstacles - Haunches in, Diagnols at the walk and trot And her potential is endless, with the right hands. She needs someone who will take the time to work with her and show her the ropes. I would definitely keep her if I could devote all my attention to her and ride her everyday, but that is not practical right now. Please consider this mare if you have time to work with her.
