Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Saint Jo, TX
Docs Two Eyed Mount (Rosie) AQHA 3891***8 .
#1 bombproof.
Ideal for a beginner or a kid's horse. She is excellent at trail
riding and a very smooth horse to ride. The owner's personal favorite
characteristic of this mare is when it's hot she loves to take you
swimming in a pond. Rosie is crooked on her front right leg and gets
a little sore, but getting her injected every few months keeps her
sound. She is also bred very well and would make a great brood mare.
See her at liberty and unders saddle on youtube. Click on the website

About Saint Jo, TX
Established in 1856, the city was originally known as Head of Elm, named for its location at the headwaters of the Elm Fork of the Trinity River. There are two conflicting stories as to how Head of Elm became Saint Jo, both of which involve Joe Howell, who originally laid out the town. One revolves around a Tennessean named Irby Holt Boggess giving leadership in partnership with Howell in or around 1872. This was displayed in the Stonewall Saloon Museum on the town square of Saint Jo in 1986 and is incorporated in a story about Boggess. The other involves Howell's personal beliefs.
