Thoroughbred Stallion for Sale in Wagener, SC
Tucker is very flashy gelding with lots of chrome. He is a nice mover and
has an excellent disposition. He would make a nice event horse or or Pony
Club mount. He is schooling BN loves to XC school, could be a Foxhunting
prospect as well. Tucker is good with flat work, holds a frame well and
is learning lateral movements quickly. Tucker does well with a relaxed
quiet rider as he can sometimes be overly energetic and forward until
he realizes his rider is relaxed. He trail rides nicely, stands tied,
great for farrier, no vices. Tucker has been a favorite Avalo Farm's
assistant's (natural horsemanship students) and has a super personality.
About Wagener, SC
Gunter's Crossroad The history of Wagener dates back to 1887. The early settlement was known as Pinder Town and later as Guntersville or Gunter's Crossroad, after the large number of North Carolinian settlers named Gunter. These men helped make up Company I of the 20th SC Infantry, which was part of Kershaw's Brigade during the Civil War. The town is situated on what was once farm land belonging to Elridge Gunter. He donated this property to benefit the schools of Wagener and the First Baptist Church.
