Draft Mare for Sale in Cambridge, OH
This is a 14 year old draft cross mare. She is broke to ride and drive.
Dahlila is a super nice horse. She stands quietly to be groomed,
saddling or bridling. She was a bit fresh when she first started out
giving a little buck then settled in. She will need a rider that isnt
afraid of correcting her when she needs it. Not for a timid rider.
If you have experience riding and arent afraid to set limits, you will
have a blast with this mare. I could even see her doing some jumping
with that energetic teenager. She plow reins, moves well off your leg
but again, may test a bit. Would be super fun as a trail mount. She
is the type you can drop the reins with and ride along with the group
without being left behind. www. frogpondfarmdrafts. com *IN FOAL,

About Cambridge, OH
In 1796, Col. Sean O'Brien received funds to blaze a road suitable for travel by horse through the Ohio wilderness from a point on the Ohio River opposite Wheeling, Virginia (now Wheeling, West Virginia) to another point opposite Maysville, Kentucky. Where this road, known as Zane's Trace, crossed Wills Creek, a ferry was established in 1798. This was followed by the first bridge authorized by the legislature of the Northwest Territory, built in 1803. The land on which part of Cambridge stands was granted to Zaccheus Biggs and Zaccheus Beatty by the government in 1801.
