Paint Stallion for Sale in Chandler, AZ
Ricky was started under saddle a year ago and has extensive ground
training - he is a good level 2- plus Parelli online and at liberty. He
also does traditional drivelining. His groundmanners are SENSATIONAL,
he is awesome for bathing, clipping, tacking and standing for the
farrier. He was ridden for the past year by a 12 year old girl and at one
point was cantering, going over cavaletti and small jumps and starting
gymkhana patterns. At some point his rider lost her confidence and Ricky
unfortunately figured this out. He currently does have a pretty fierce
bucking habit. He needs a very experienced rider to work him through this
problem and get him back on track under saddle. This horse has TONS of
great training in him, for an advanced rider this is a nice big horse
that will take you where you want to go.
About Chandler, AZ
In 1891, Dr. Alexander John Chandler, the first veterinary surgeon in Arizona Territory, settled on a ranch south of Mesa, studying irrigation engineering. By 1900, he had acquired 18,000 acres (73 km 2) of land, and began drawing up plans for a townsite on what was then known as the Chandler Ranch. The townsite office opened on May 17, 1912, the same year that Chandler High School was established. The townsite was bounded by Galveston Street on the north, Frye Road on the south, Hartford Street on the west, and Hamilton Street on the east.
