Thoroughbred Mare for Sale in Sherman, TX
Flower was raced trained and ran 5 times before being retired. The
past few years she has been a wonderful broodmare for me producing two
foals. Great broodmare: settles easy, no complications during pregnancy,
and delivered both foals on her own. She is super protective toward
other horses but lets us humans do whatever we want with the foal right
off the bat. She has only been ridden occasionally during this time in
fields around my house just goofing off so she will need a tune up if
you want to ride her again. Prior to her foals she was in training for
HUS and introduced to a few small jumps. On trails she plods along like
thats all she knows however put her in an arena and you realize shes not
a dead head trail horse. Due to her time off she will need an experienced
rider for awhile.

About Sherman, TX
Sherman was named after General Sidney Sherman (July 23, 1805 – August 1, 1873), a hero of the Texas Revolution. The community was designated as the county seat by the act of the Texas legislature which created Grayson County on March 17, 1846. In 1847, a post office began operation. Sherman was originally located at the center of the county, but in 1848 it was moved about 3 miles (5 km) east to its current location. By 1850, Sherman had become an incorporated town under Texas law.
