Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Stephenville, TX
We have had 'Pepper' since she was 2 years old. She received 30 days
training with Craig Cameron, and was ridden about a year and then no more
up until about 6 months ago. She is easy to catch, good for the farrier,
and loads. She has had a foal. Pepper is a big, stout, beautiful mare. We
are selling her due to the fact we have other well broke horses to ride
and don't have the time to restart her, nor do we wish to have any more
foals. We are selling her as a broodmare prospect, but if you have the
time, she could still make a riding horse. She does not buck, but is
basically green broke. She has a very sweet temperament.

About Stephenville, TX
Stephenville is named after John M. Stephen, who settled there in 1854, and donated the land for the townsite laid out by George B. Erath when the county was organized in 1856. In the first two years of its settlement, the townsite was successful; by 1858, the population reached 776. However, the townsite was located in Comanche territory and raids were common.
