Quarter Horse Stallion for Sale in Hillsboro, MO
Bill is bred and built to make an incredible working cow horse, whether
it be tracking cows to cutting, Bill really could excel. We do not
have the time to put the training on him and would love to see him go
to a good home where he could be worked consistently and be given a job.
He may be little, Bill has more stamina, endurance and power than most of
the bigger horses. He has been trail ridden extensively for hours and was
always ready to keep on going. He is very people friendly on the ground,
the first on at the gate and loves to cuddle. But he needs advanced
intermediate to experienced rider. If you're looking for a champion horse
that will put his heart and soul into everything you ask of him, Billy
is your horse. Please e - mail for more information and pictures of Bill.
About Hillsboro, MO
Hillsboro was originally called Monticello, and under the latter name was platted in 1839, and named after Monticello, home of President Thomas Jefferson. The name Monticello was afterwards changed because the U.S. postal authorities refused to accept that name, there being another post office in the state with a similar name. The present name Hillsboro is the English equivalent of the Italian name Monticello. A post office has been in operation at Hillsboro since 1838.
