Oldenburg Mare for Sale in Charlestown, NH
This quiet, sane, sound, kid / beginner friendly mare has also produced
four quality foals. Total sales of her first three foals was in excess of
$35, 000. I recently found out that her first filly is now competing at
3 rd level dressage! She loves the trails and babysitting plus she can
produce your next upper level mount. Excellent "family horse"!
*UPDATE* This mare will be bred to Oldenburg stallion Mannhattan (grey
horse in picture gallery) in April. After conception, her price will
increase!! *UPDATE* We have just received conformation from the vet
that Lucy is in foal to Oldenburg stallion Mannhattan. Don't miss this
opportunity to own TWO well - bred Oldenburgs for the price of one!
About Charlestown, NH
The area was first granted on 31 December 1735 by colonial governor Jonathan Belcher of Massachusetts as "Plantation No. 4", the fourth in a line of forts on the Connecticut River border established as trading posts. Settled in 1740, Number Four was the northernmost township, and its 1744 log fort became a strategic military site throughout the French and Indian Wars. On the evening of May 2, 1746, Seth Putnam joined Major Josiah Willard and several soldiers as they escorted women to milk the cows. As they approached the booth, Natives hiding in the bushes opened fire, killing Putnam.
