Palomino Mare for Sale in Potomac, IL
Palomino, in her 20's Loving, gentle, you can brush and pet her all day.
Saddles, loads, stands, catch; all easy. You could lead her around all
day, never bucks, bites, or kicks. LOVES attention. Her only vice is
when not being led when in the sadde if you give her wide open spaces
she likes to build speed, if you let her she'll run. She has get up and
go if you allow her the space. Other than that she is perfect. I'm
suggesting intermediate rider since that might scare a beginner if
they didn't know how to slow her down. She doesn't even suggest she'll
buck or throw you, you feel very safe on her. We are asking 300 $ for
her. neverk***@gotsky. com or 217-304- 3474.

About Potomac, IL
The town was originally named Marysville after the wives of the two founders, John Smith and Isaac Meneley, who started businesses here circa 1840. On May 13, 1871, a post office was established at the town and was named Potomac, most likely after the Potomac River. The town's name was later changed to conform to this. The town was hit by a tornado in April 1953, injuring a dozen people. Potomac prospered into the late 20th century, with a population peaking at 900 during the 1970 census, due in part to its location along US Route 136, one of the primary East-West highways crossing the state of Illinois.
