National Show Stallion for Sale in Green Springs, OH
"Ace" was named Reserve Naitonal Champion 2 year old Pleasure
Driving at the 2000 NSH Finals. He was also Top 5 in Stallion Halter
as a 2 year old that same year. He is a wonderful horse with a great
dispostion for a Stallion. He currently has four geldings on the ground.
The oldest (at 6 years of age) was Top 5 in several (HUS) classes this
past year at the 2007 NSH Finals. He has two 5 year olds just getting
started this past year and 1 two year old straight NSH gelding. He would
make an awesome show horse, breeding stallion or gelding. Too many
horses forces me to sell him. E - mail for a price and pictures. Priced
to sell too the right home.
About Green Springs, OH
The Green Springs area was originally inhabited by the Seneca Indians. But in 1830, the Seneca were forced to move to reservations in the West because of a policy of Indian removal developed by the administration of Andrew Jackson. Then, in 1831, Jacob Stem, the founder of Green Springs, bought the land from the government. He purchased about 1,200 acres (4.9 km 2) within Sandusky and Seneca counties, including the sulfur spring. It has been told by older citizens of that time that he really did not get the spring then, but later on bought it from the Indians for 12 bags of wheat, 12 bags of oats, 12 bags of corn, and a mule.
