Haflinger Mare for Sale in Seneca Falls, NY

"Cali" has been trained in English and Western riding. Doesn't neck rein yet. Is very intelligent and willing. Needs an experienced rider to show her who's boss. Absolutely beautiful mover! Would make a great jumping or dressage prospect. Leads, lunges, ties, loads, clips. Doesn't like her ears clipped, but is not ear shy with your hands at all. Is up to date on shots / worming, Coggins neg. (07) , just had teeth floated and wolf teeth pulled. I hate to part with her. I Love her and she is so beautiful. I am just looking for something a little more my speed (slow) . Hoping to trade for a 3-10 year old similar looking gelding that is a nice mellow guy with enough oomph to canter and do some games at the shows. , trail ride (western) , and maybe take a few jumps. Looking in the NY, PA, & OH ares.

About Seneca Falls, NY

The region is the former realm of the Cayuga tribe, who were visited by Jesuit missionaries during the 17th century. Cayuga villages were attacked and destroyed by the Sullivan Expedition of 1779 in retaliation for plundering and killing new colonists. The region became part of the Central New York Military Tract, reserved for veterans, after the conclusion of the American Revolution. A canal was completed in 1818 allowing transit between Seneca Lake and Cayuga Lake. This canal was connected to the Erie Canal in 1828.
