JS Radar Love is an extremely personable gelding, ready to please in the
show ring and on the trails! Radar is currently qualified for Nationals
in Country English, and has also performed well in Hunter. Radar has also
shown side saddle and would likely excel in Show Hack. He is extremely
fun to work with and has a laid back attitude but plenty of go when you
need it. He is great on the trails and is not a spooky horse. He has even
gone horse camping in Point Reyes! This is the perfect horse if you are
looking to successfully compete and enjoy the fun outdoors stuff, too. He
is a real sweet heart and loves attention - a true people pleaser with
a great personality. He has been Region 3 Top 5 in both Hunter Pleasure
and Country English, and has had lots of training and show experience.

About Newcastle, CA
Newcastle was founded in the 19th century. According to Transcontinental Railroad Landmarks the "Regular freight and passenger trains began operating over the first 31 miles of Central Pacific's line to Newcastle June 10, 1864, when political opposition and lack of money stopped further construction during that mild winter. Construction was resumed in April, 1865." The region is also in the vicinity of what was the cradle of "gold country", where in the mid-19th century a flurry of miners and gold prospectors searched for their fortune. During this time however, the town of Newcastle was known more for its orchards rather than abundant gold mines. The Newcastle post office opened in 1864.
