Quarter Horse Stallion for Sale in Humansville, MO
Don't Let The Low Price Fool You. This is A Quality Young Foundation
Stud Who is 100% Sound In Every Way. He Has Only Been Lightly Bred To
My Own Mares and will Hand or Pasture Breed. To Date He has Thrown 100%
Duns. His foals have nice big hips, deep chest, pretty heads, and great
minds. His first Crop will be shown Spring 08'.
"Cowboy" Has a wonderful laid back personality. He was lightly
ridden as a 2 yr then just used for breeding. I have restared him this
week and he has been great. Stands quiet and still, like an old gelding,
for saddling and mounting, very good whoa, no buck, rare, or Spook. He
pays attention and does not get distracted by the mares, just needs
someone to pick a direction and finish him. Never been mistreeted
or injured. A GOOD HOME IS A MUST
About Humansville, MO
Humansville was named after an African American Indian, James Human, who settled in the area in 1834. A post office called Humansville has been in operation since 1839. During the Civil War, a skirmish was fought on the town's outskirts on March 26, 1862, in which approximately 300 to 400 Missouri Confederates under Col. James M. Frazier of Cedar County clashed with two companies of pro-Union Missouri State Militia.
