Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Leitchfield, KY
JETS THREE CHICK - This mare is sired by the famous SLICE OF LIFE (si
107) by Easily Smashed. Her dam is a daughter of TRIPLE CHICK (full
brother to THREE CHICKS) out of a winning daugher of LITTLE REQUEST
(leading sire of AQHA and TB race / performance speed events) whose
dam was a daughter of BOBS FOLLY (AQHA Foundation Racing Sire) This
pretty mare is DNA typed / parentage verified, tattooed and is a great
broodmare. No vices whatsoever She is exposed for 2008 to SKIPS COPY K
SHADOW (sire of 7 World and 7 Res. World Champions) not verified in foal.
Easy breeder, easy keeper, worms, trims, loads, milks heavily and has
never sick a day in her life. She is not the bloodline we specialize
in and cannot realize her full potential here. Needs to go to someone
who is serious about raising racing Quarter Horses / track / speed events.

About Leitchfield, KY
The town was named for Major David Leitch, an aide to Gen. George Washington and the original owner of much land in the county, including the town site, at the eastern end of his holdings. The city was formally incorporated by the state assembly in 1866. Leitchfield lies in the Clifty Area, the sandstone-dominated belt that is usually classified as part of the West Kentucky Coal Field but separates the coalfield from the limestone-rich Pennyroyal Plateau. A fault running through the area puts limestone at or near the surface, and there are quarries west of town.
