We have started booking mares for the (Spring 2007) breeding season. We
have had 4 babies this spring and are expecting three more. We require
that your mare be current on all vaccinations and coggins prior to
arrrival.

registered stud. 15. 3 hh. He has a very sweet and affectionate
personality. Guaranteed color producer.
He tests positive for the tobiano pattern (TT) . He tests negative for
the red gene (EE) - no offspring produced by this horse will inherit
the red gene from this animal. Testing was conducted by Shelterwood
Laboratories in Timpson, Texas in 2004. Discount for multiple mares.
$4. 00 per day mare care.
In exchange for the stud fee we will accept hay. Since we buy hay year
round a couple mare owners brought a rack of hay as the breeding fee,
but they lived close by.

Cousins William L. Wiley (1820-1900) and James Wiley (1817-1886) founded Galva in 1854. The name Galva honors the Swedish immigrants of nearby Bishop Hill and refers to Gävle, Sweden which is the town's sister city. Today around 80% of the town has Scandinavian ancestry. Galva was a railroad town.
