Belgian Warmblood Mare for Sale in Stoughton, WI
19 year old Belgian mare for sale. Don~t let her large frame scare you
off. Her name Sweetheart, fits her perfectly! She doesn~t canter easily,
but walks nice and has a beautiful trott when asked. She is great on
trails and has never spooked for me. She really helped my daughter
learn to ride, and was never too overbearing. She hasn~t been ridden
in a few months, and needs a little refreshment. She used to belong
to the Amish, and knows how to drive. Sweetheart is a wonderful horse,
and I know you will fall in love with her just like we did!
About Stoughton, WI
Stoughton was founded in 1847 by Luke Stoughton, an Englishman from Vermont. Many Norwegian immigrants settled in the town from 1865 through the early 1900s. Stoughton also claims to be the birthplace of the "coffee break", and hosts a small yearly parade to celebrate the distinction. For much of its history, Stoughton has been Dane County's second-largest and economically important city, after Madison. In 1919, the Stoughton Wagon Company began putting custom wagon bodies on Model T chassis; by 1929 Ford was by far the biggest seller of station wagons.
