Thoroughbred Stallion for Sale in Groton, MA
I'm looking for a long term home with a devoted owner who can learn from
my well educated horse. Tigger has successfully shown in eventing up to
training level. He moves beautifully and has had a lot of professional
training. I bought him from Denny Emerson and he has trained with
both him and Lynn Coates - Holmes. He is unable to jump anymore due to
vision impairment, but would be happy to teach you dressage, take you on
trail rides and hang out with a paddock buddy. He trailers, has great
manners, a lot of personality and needs a good, stable home with a quiet
environment so that he is comfortable with his vision impairment. Sadly
I am unable to keep him because I am away at college.

About Groton, MA
The area surrounding modern-day Groton has, for thousands of years, been the territory of various cultures of indigenous peoples. They settled along the rivers, which they used for domestic tasks, fishing and transportation. Historic tribes were the Algonquian-speaking Nipmuc and Nashaway Indians. The Anglo-American Groton started with the trading post of John Tinker, who conducted business there with the Nashaway at the confluence of Nod Brook and the Nashua River. The Nashaway called the area Petapawag, meaning "swampy land." As Tinker had, other pioneers followed the Algonquian trails from Massachusetts Bay.
