Quarter Horse Stallion for Sale in Sulphur, OK
This gray gelding moves low and soft on the front end. He is progressing
into a great working cow horse. We are very pleased with his mind
and attitude. Laid back by nature, yet he is smart and thinks through
pressure. Quick learner and solid reactions. Nice horse to be around,
doesn't act silly. Will be one of the best moving horses we've produced
so far. Look for him at the 2007 OKFQHR shows. His price will be moving
up as he continues to prove himself. Eligiable for Super Stakes at
OkFQHR shows.

About Sulphur, OK
This area was part of the Chickasaw Nation in Indian Territory during the late 19th Century. The first known settler was Noah Lael, son-in-law of former Chickasaw Governor Cyrus Harris, who built a ranch south of Pavilion Springs in 1878. In 1882, Harris sold the ranch to Perry Froman, a part Chickasaw rancher. The Encyclopedia of Oklahoma History and Culture says the ranch house was the first residence in Sulphur. About 1890, a group of fisherman built a clubhouse at the Sulphur site.
