13-15 Yr Old Calm Quarter Horse Gelding

Earl, calm quarter horse gelding 13 to 15 years old. We haven't had Earl long, he came to us when someone had a horrible accident and the family was not able to take care of him. He has never offered to kick or bite and usually comes to the gate to greet us. Stands for brushing, and was good for the farrier. Gets along well with our other horses. We have only ridden him three times, but never had a bit of trouble with him, no humping his back, bucking, or rearing. Stood still to mount and rode fine - knows neck reining. Has been around cattle, dogs, cats, chainsaws, tractors, 4- wheelers, doesn't seem to be the least bit spooky or excitable. He hadn't been ridden in a long time before we got him either! No papers, but a nice looking, calm acting, middle aged horse.
