Arabian Mare for Sale in Wichita, KS
I have a lovely Arabian mare who I would like to breed. She is very well
- bred, with great conformation, beautiful movement, and talent under
saddle. I tried to breed her once last year with no success (the vet did
not follow through) , but have since moved across the country and need to
find a new stud. I am a college student and cannot afford to pay high
stud fees, so am looking for someone with a young or unproven stallion
they want to breed for little or no fee. This mare is bound to be an
outstanding producer and will showcase your stallion's finest points.
She is built and willing to do it all, and at this point I am willing
to hear about any breeds or disciplines. I may even be interested in
a deal where I keep the first foal, you get the next, etc.
About Wichita, KS
Archaeological evidence indicates human habitation near the confluence of the Arkansas and Little Arkansas Rivers, the site of present-day Wichita, as early as 3000 B.C. In 1541, a Spanish expedition led by explorer Francisco Vázquez de Coronado found the area populated by the Quivira, or Wichita, people. Conflict with the Osage in the 1750s drove the Wichita further south. Prior to European settlement of the region, the site was in the territory of the Kiowa. Claimed first by France as part of Louisiana and later acquired by the United States with the Louisiana Purchase in 1803, it became part of Kansas Territory in 1854 and then the state of Kansas in 1861.
