Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Davenport, IA
Here is your chance to own a stunning AQHA mare. Galaxy has been
with me since she was a long yearling. I have done everything with
her. She has quite the personality and loves attention. Learns knew
things extremely quick and doesn't forget it. I love working with her,
and hate selling her. She stands great for vet, farrier, bath, tacking,
grooming. Ground work is done, Has been ridden a few times, but needs
more miles. I won't consider her green or broke. Not easily spooked and
loves to investigate things. She is a great horse, and will definetly
make someone happy. Only selling due to the fact that my parents are
in med school and force herd reduction. I may take her off market, so
get her fast when you can. Good approved home only. Emial for pics and
info. Price firm and will rise with training.
About Davenport, IA
The land was originally owned by the historic Sauk people, Meskwaki (Fox), and Ho-Chunk (Winnebago) Native American tribes. France laid claim to this territory as part of its New France and Illinois Country in the 18th century. Its traders and missionaries came to the area from Canada (Quebec), but it did not have many settlers here. After losing to Great Britain in the Seven Years' War, France ceded its territory east of the Mississippi River to the victor, but retained lands to the west. In 1803 France sold its holdings in North America west of the Mississippi River to the United States under the Louisiana Purchase.
